Midori Kumazawa

Midori joined Vanguard Lawyers Tokyo in October 2021. Her previous experience includes handling international cross-border legal affairs, finance, insolvency, business restructuring and dispute resolution for a Japanese law firm as well as working in the legal department of a general trading company. At Vanguard she utilizes her experience to provide practical advice for her clients. She has extensive experience in a variety of areas, including general corporate matters, labour litigation, major commercial litigation, financial regulatory advice, fraud investigations for foreign companies, and assisting Japanese companies with outbound matters.

Admitted as a Japanese bengoshi in 2019, Midori is a member of the Dai-ichi Tokyo Bar Association. She was educated at Keio University and University of Tokyo Graduate School for Law and Politics.
