Naoki Kinami

Naoki specialises in international finance, corporate mergers and acquisitions and regulatory work. Over the last 40 years, he has had extensive experience of acting for banks and other financial institutions on cross-border and domestic loans, including limited recourse and structured loans, and capital adequacy transactions. His clients include major international commercial banks, US and UK investment banks, Japanese insurance companies and other Japanese and international corporations and financial institutions.

Naoki was educated at the University of Tokyo, the Legal Research and Training Institute of the Supreme Court of Japan and Georgetown University Law Center. He was admitted as a Japanese bengoshi (lawyer) in 1975 and is a member of the New York Bar, the Dai-ni Tokyo Bar Association and the American Bar Association. He speaks Japanese and English.
